In addition to being a great pianist, Steven Hough is a Commander of the Order of the British Empire, a painter and a writer. Stephen Hough chatted with K-Bach's Sterling Beeaff from Colorado a few days ago and spoke about putting together a recital like we’ll hear this Sunday, April 6, 7pm, at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.

The Hance Park in downtown Phoenix is undergoing a redesign. The plans for the 32 acre space will be unveiled Thursday March 27, 2014, 5-8 PM during a public celebration at the east side of the park at Central Avenue. Saturday, March 15, K-BACH & Classical Revolution Phoenix present LOUD III: an outdoor festival of music, including the Salt River Brass, Basha High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble and the Mosaic Quartet at the Tempe History Museum.

K-BACH's Sterling Beeaff sat down with one of the best Tuba players in the country, Patrick Sheridan, who just happens to live here in the valley, and is the director of the Salt River Brass.
